He's not though, that's the point! Emery's first two teams he managed both promoted, both to highest league position they've had, negative net spend at Valencia of -£63 million, finished 6,3,3,3. Sevilla negative net spend -£83 million, finished 5,5&7. I think one season he had 18 players coming in and one season 11 players coming in. He's constantly selling his best players and bringing young players in. If you think that's crap then I think you need to adjust your point of view!

Actually -100m at Sevilla. Imagine, he is winless away and still managed 7th! And already 1 cup for the season. What's not to love?

Doubtful now that they're in the Champions league mate.

They have been selling players so unless this is the turning point where they start buying (and outspend Barca and Real? Insane...), I think we can make him a good offer. Good salary, good youth system, decent 1st team, possibly new stadium coming. Only thing stopping us is the fear of even approaching him.

Yeah and he's normally decent away at home, previous season he won 10 away. I think he's absolutely top draw, how we haven't approached him is bizarre. Played some great football second half. Takes a top manager to turn it round like that as well.
