LVG might actually choose to bow out as a winner leaving the door wide open for Jose.

Fingers crossed that he's bloody-minded enough to want to stay on.

they cant sack him now that they won a trophy? surely?
Champs League qualification was the important minimum measure of his success and once he failed he was gone just like Moyes. He'll be removed as manager, once the celebrations have subsided, by the end of next week I expect and José appointed quickly thereafter.

Just can't see Mourinho being the manager, with the usual God Fathers,SAF & SBC looking on, also heard they don't want him,but we will know soon.

technically he still has a year left on his contract to achieve CL qualification.

Can't help thinking it could all go
Wrong for him at United. He needs the 100% support of all around him or he goes full on John Rambo he seems to live confrontation however it works best when he is confronting the opposition & not those who are meant to be with him.

Wonder where that leaves Giggs, was he not supposed to take over when LVG's contract expired ?

Either of them would be as bad as Martinez
No they wouldn't.

Martinez was a manager who failed at the basics for some philosophy thst just didn't work. Results show that, both here and Wigan. Considering he went from championship to relegation to us in the space of 3 years shows you he got a lucky run of appointments ala Rodgers has also.

As much as Pellegrini or De Boer or anyone else is an unknown entity until one of them takes over and has at least 3 years, I can guarantee you any of them would perform better than Martinez ever did.
