It seems to me that the boards preferred list (now that Jose is out of it) is, in order
  • Koeman
  • Emery
  • De Boer
  • Pellegrini No doubt they will also interview several other candidates who have shown an interest, including Moyes and God knows who else. If it is not one of the preferred four, it will either be because they ALL turned us down OR because somebody unexpectedly absolutely wows at interview and talks themselves into the job.

Neville chiming in on Granada Reports claiming Moyes will be great for Everton again and then claiming he was 'successful there for so long'.

Can someone please explain to me how zero trophies is success please?

I'd honestly love Neville Southall to be asked his opinion on who the new manager should be, not these no marks of a barren period of our history.

These ex players are the reason we're thought of as a small club that is resigned to the history books.

Neville - the most detested player in our history.
He also said when challenged about some Blues being against Moyes being in the mix..."supporters forget" . Maybe Phil...but not your "dinks" forward (ish) after Moyes made you the un-droppable skipper.

Just seen that mate, I nearly kicked the telle in,absolutely sickening we need to get away from this small club opinion that we seem to be stuck with ASAP.

Im leaving the thread, people actually think Koeman is amazing. I can't co
It's not as cut and dried as that, you can't just say because they've finished around the same position then they're equal as managers. Koeman has a better win percentage at Soton than Moyes did here, also has a better win percentage over his career than Moyes. He plays better football and is more ambitious than Moyes, and backed with money would probably have more pull in the transfer market than Moyes. Koeman was also a brilliant, decorated player who's won all sorts. Moyes has won the square root of naff all.

He took us from 17th to 4th with no money and cheap signings. I'm comparing him to Koeman as they are both similar management wise. Not with tactics but with what I believe they can achieve compared to pelligrini with money, he lost his best players and had to fill the gaps but he didn't take on what moyes took on. I have to disagree I'm sorry

The thought of either of them two near this club again makes me angry. Neville once claimed finishing in the Top 10 is success for us.

Can't wait until all of that old guard Kenwright, Woods, Elstone, Osman, etc are out of this club for good.

We need ambitious players and leaders in the boardroom.

It's very unlikely to be Pellegrini, other candidates would have to drop out.

"Other candidiates" (plural), who are still under contract? Does this mean that Emery is still in the frame (thought he had dropped off the radar)?

I don't know most people on here but I'm willing to back up my conversation to everyone as we're all blues or not?
I don't think Pellegrini is as good as we could hope for. I thought his transfer record left a lot to be desired and city have got progressively worse since his opening season and had Gerrard not slipped he wouldn't of got 3 years at City.
