Couldn't care less about his club record. The man is a name that would lift our stature through the roof and would attract boss players....and Erm. ...he's world champion and has dominated in the game for years.

Club are meeting the new manager's agent today to finalise deal.

Club expect to make announcement next week.

If this just all ends up with it being Koeman then I don't think he's quite the big name that everyone would supposedly be very pleased with.

Yet we embraced BOBSY after relegating WIGAN and him deciding he 'wasn't the man' to bring them back up (he got 'em there), we also overlooked the fact he genuinely felt TITUS BRAMBLE should be an ENGLAND regular and - on top of that - he stated often & publicly that he would never change nor deviate from his 'philosophy', no matter how damaging it was, ergo learnt nothing from the WIGAN tenure at all really...

Based on that, yes, FDB is awful...

Tbf if I was going to pretend to be an ITK on the internet I'd probably use a clever name like "themole" or "footieinsider" or "agent69" or something. So I guess with that in mind, we should pay attention as he's got the first step right.
