It's on lads, tonight.

I'm hearing from my sauces that a certain ex-international manager is signing on the dotted line within the next few hours. The club want to get the deal finalised and announced tonight so that they can also announce a foreign loan signing before the last semi final of Britain's Got Talent.

Welcome MB. That's all I can say.
Bielsa. That would be fun and a little insane.

Collapsed is a little dramatic - there was mutual interest but ultimately Koeman has sights on bigger things 12 months down the line. There were never any guarantees.

Similarly with Emery, he's expressed interest in managing in the PL, he'll have by now had the full Moshiri pitch which is a highly attractive one but it's down to him. His people are meeting the club today so there's clearly interest.I believe he has a buy out clause in his contract so if he wants to come to us the process should be relatively simple.

But there are no guarantees, there never are.

With all these non-guarantees managers are falling off the shortlist one by one!

This thread just took a freaky turn...

Ah yes.......

But it is the Freaky turns that intersperse the: Snippets of real info, the downright lies, the lunacy, the bizarre, the fighting and the moaning!

Without them it just wouldn't be the same - the freaky turns sort of bind it altogether to create a "GOT Journey" !!!

I was like that tbh i wasn't overly impressed with the league form however winning the Europa is massive, then i looked at his time at Valencia and it got my interest going a little more...

It would be an interesting appointment... just hope it isn't purely on the back of beating the RS.

Your forgetting a big thing mate, board expectations, at Sevilla the remit seems to be qualify for Europe and try win a cup, not challenge for the league or CL season in and out. In that regard he definitely DOES prioritise the Cup competitions - and rightly so, he keepts them competitive in the league to ensure Europe each year, but rather than throwing everything into the league games late season - they deliberately rest the squad (A LOT) to keep them fresh in europe - and it works

Pretty sure that had Sevilla just jibbed off the EL and cup comps each seaosn then they would have been regularly fighting it out for that 4th spot in the league, the manger and board seem to think the best route to their goals are via europe though, and have to say they appear correct

Yeah i think hes worth a shot to be honest, the way they beat Liverpool was class, no matter how much of it was down to Liverpools General arrogance.
