Thats the bit that gets me mate, unless he has been told he has bigger fish in the very near future, i am shocked we wouldn't have appealed to him and would be worth a shot.

I'm not sure why but I don't get a good vibe from him at all for us mate.

Obviously I have nothing to base this on and if he does become manager I'll back him, but at this point he isn't anywhere near top pick for me.

I've looked at that much Google my eyes are sore and I've forgotten where I was up to.

Who said Everton are Meeting Emery today., Answers on a postcard please.

If we got him where would you rank him out of the other prem managers?
For me it's:

1. Guardiola
2. Mourinho
3. Conte
4. Emery
5. Pochettino/Koeman (I rate Poch but I think he's negative and loves grocks too much too be a top manager at the moment)

Undecided on where Wenger and Ranieri would be on that list...

Putting all this manager talk aside - I have just had an email from a colleague (new starter in the US) and his name is Moby D1ck!!! I actually just fell off my chair laughing.

D'you think he's taking the piss? I genuinely don't know how to respond to him - do I send a simple one-line response saying "Ahoy"
ive just nearly wet myself reading that

I wouldn't have minded him, i think he is always on the look for the next position though. Though most managers shelf lives now are roughly 3 years, so don't know if we would have expected more from him.

Steady, not sensational i would have said. Big name, done it all - but something about him which, like you say, is a bit dodgy.
