We will end up with who we end up with. The way I'm looking at it is there MUST be a specific reason why its taking so long..... Someone on holiday, waiting for contract to expire still in their season. Everton will be waiting for said person to be available for talks.

It is taking so long because both the original first preferences said no to us. I would imagine that talks would take place only after the informal channels of communication have been put to good use and that person has declared an interest in talking to us.

Can someone more knowledgeable than me explain why De Boer is not flavour of the month.....because from what I've read he's better than most. He's young, wants the job, has something to prove, has lots of connections and managed Ajax.....what's not to like! I mean people were creaming themselves when we got Martinez....from Wigan and Moyes from Preston. Just get it done FFS. I want De Boer....before he loses patience!
