Tbf it Moyes was coming back he'd have been announced ages ago. He was a free agent and could've signed up immediately upon the vacancy becoming available.

He can be ruthless obviously. When he feels the need to be. Whose to say that he doesn't feel the need now?

As I said he wasn't ruthless in sacking Martinez. The fans were and forced the issue. I'm convinced he might even still be in post was it not for serious fan unrest.
