Given free choice and all willing to come our way - yeah, that's not happening - I'd take Emery over Simeone (as long as Monchi came too).

I'm surprised Monchi has left before Emery if they were contemplating both resigning and staying together.

Though to be fair either would be an amazing coup but I suppose we're the best option at the moment with Arsenal happy and the rest of the top end of the PL also sorted. Koeman is a smart guy so he'd be a good choice. Pellegrini is perhaps not the manager he was and also perhaps losing interest in the game after his treatment at City.

Sounds random but quite a lot of Liverpool fans are just assuming he's off there to replace Ayre.

Hopefully its because we have negotiated deals from both him and Emery.
