If Koeman is out then De Bper is a must.

Echo reporting that we want a Koeman and Monchi link up. If Emery is happy to come then we have to pair him with Monchi as its a proven relationship. They are good friends and have worked together successfully for years, theres no telling how Koeman and Monchi will get on.

My take is we've interviewed Emery earlier in the week, then waited for Koeman to come back from his hols to interview him today. If we decide (today) who we want then the other will have the opportunity to say he's turned us down, or was never interviewed in the first place, so they can return to their team with some dignity in tact.

This post makes me think we've decided to hire Emery!

I think it's pretty telling that the Emery talk has died down in Spain, even the Monchi articles made no mention of him really, it was exclusively Monchi.
