worth pointing saints finished just 3 points behind city in the race for champs league

Yes a good point. Southampton did concede 8 more goals than his first season and those goals probably cost a CL place. He might have been a bit unlucky in that respect with injury to Forster.

Getting a decent keeper in this summer is key IMO.

Unfortunately it appears so. That's where we have fallen, but need to rebuild from.

What do you mean fallen????

Last time we got a manager who had won the cup with Wigan but got relegated. Most of us were happy with it and we definitiely were after the first season.

Before that we got Preston's manager to steer us clear of relegation.

Before that Walter Smith.

I could go on...

Now we have people seriously complaining because we finished 11th two seasons on the trot, yet have got a manager who has guided a club tpo 6th and 5th in his first two seasons in the prem, on a limited budget having sold their best players while playing a young side and attractive style of football. Not to mention being one of the most decorated players of his generation?

Incredible.

Outdoing ourselves tonight lids.

Get over yourselves you blerts! Being told you were getting Koeman immediately after the Derby capitulation and you'd have been greeting him like the Parisians greeting deGaulle! He's a good manager, speaks Engligh, knows the prem and is a 100% upgrade on Martinez! You are like some arsey little kid, who opens his xbox at Christmas and has a paddy because it is white and he wanted the black one! 99% of you had never heard of Emery or Monshi until two weeks ago!

Realistically, yes, we finished 11th two seasons running. Emery is the other one, but I imagine we may well be seeing him at Milan this coming season (if not then it'll be Pellegrini).

Koeman is a proven quality manager in this league and the one Moshiri identified from the start was the one to stabilise the club and start us back in the right direction.

I don't know what people expect?

Bit like Martinez

Was just pointing out that, despite your misgivings, he has still achieved. Not sure what Bobby has got to do with it tbh, nobody mentioned him. Now you have though I'll point out that Bobby had just been relegated as well, not led a pretty average side to 6th. IF, he is the man to take over let's get behind him and see what he can do.
