Is right larrrrrrr...but what about KLOPP though mate. Isn't that wig of his amazing? Tellin' ya...that's one fancy weave that.

#WIG

#etc

klopp brings nothing but passion [Poor language removed] shambles of a manager walked after failure at bvb,

lfc declining henderson is captain says it all

emery or koeman would beat them easily in a derby

Not waste money on tosh players
not slate the youth team players
Not lose games by enormous scorelines
Not be dreadful at xmas
not go out of domestic cups so easily
get past the uefa cup qualifiers
Here's the thing though mate.

He almost relegated valencia right? Except he didn't do that to Southampton, quite the opposite of that in fact.

So either koeman has learned from his experiences and is improving as a manager or he nearly relegated every team he manages ala Martinez.

So to put such High expectations on koeman and therefore deem him a poor recruitment negates the point that he is improving as he goes along and all those sticks you want to beat him with? Time has shown he will probably achieve them all here.

Doesnt seem to be able to handle top players and their egos...

I'm thinking we're missing part of the story Zat.

And the club, who was third in the FIFA rankings, has been crumbling in sports and economically. According to Cinco Dias, he closed 2006-07 with increased debt by 27% to 370.9 million.

They were in a period of financial crisis with massively growing debt from their stadium project and I suspect that the club President at the time was trying to sell these players or get rid of the wages to help the balance sheet and that Koeman was left with the job of forcing them out.

That, or they just could not be bothered to train properly in the first 20 days he was there and he thought they were a waste of wages and bad characters to be around the club.

These are possibilities.

He was relegating us mate. Just doing it over a few years.

Point is I bet you the majority of the fans who don't want koeman because of thst valencia season also were still thinking Martinez would turn it around up until the general opinion changed. It's double standards, especially as koeman has achieved over two years what essentially Martinez should have done.

I know people see Leiscter and suddenly think we should be winning the league but koeman can take us back into Europe and that is a massive step considering how far behind we are the jarg clubs

Whoosh

Good grief, away for a few hours, come back on here same people howling at the moon over a manager that's not been confirmed yet.

Look, I was excited about Emery too, but Im just as happy with Koeman, the fans who are writing Koeman, off and think Emery is the savior are naive. Some of these fans probably knew nothing about Emery till a few weeks back. Yes he has won three european cups, which is great and exciting, but he is unproven in the premier league and we can't compete in Europe without a manager coming in and being effective in the premier league. Just to name a few successful managers from continental Europe:

Felix Magath

Remi Garde

Louis van Gaal

Andre Villas-Boas

Juande Ramos

ALL FAILED IN THE EPL

NSNO is not De boer Pellegrini or someone looking for an easy job

koeman or emery only ones we want if dont get any we are messed up

So Koeman is NSNO?

You genuinely think Koeman is the best football manager in the game? If not, your logic is flawed...

Also wouldn't be so dismissive of the others when lauding Koeman.

de Boer achieved more in Holland than Koeman.
Pellegrini has achieved considerably more in the game than Koeman and still has records in place at numerous clubs - record league finishes at Villarreal and Malaga, records at Man City when he won the league - he was also the man who took Ronaldo to Real Madrid...

Still, football is a fickle game and your only as good as your last 2 seasons and so, Koeman taking 8th place Southampton to 7th and 6th is now clearly NSNO...

In short, I think saying "we're screwed if we don't get Koeman" is a bit melodramatic...

i dont care about youth rather have payet who doesnt give ball away then ross walking round the pitch overweight and not bothering to track back lazy
Don't think its quite as simple as Ross being lazy, I think he was probably instructed to not track back. Payet did look good last season, lets see what he's like this year before fawning over him too much,at his age he probably isn't the new Zidane...
