Well although we only had a handful,a couple of them said it + actually i didnt know that.....they did support all my other points to some extent as well.

fell out with players
poor nov/ddc results
doesnt play youth

forgot the rest.

Also you agreed with me on Besic and then put him on your sig....and now Janssen....

Amazed you like Koeman, such a pity after we agreed on FDB and Cocu....im rather disapppointed with you.

What????

Ive read all the decent Saint fans posts, the 1s who arent bitter, they all say good things, they all say we have got a good manager, peoples obsession with youth amazes me, if the kids are good enough, they play, if not, they dont, its really that simple.

What you mean agreed with you on Besic? and Janssen..............

I like Koeman cos ive done the research Zat, I still want Cocu, but its not gonna happen, no point spending the next 3 years crying about it, Koemans gonna be our manager, he walks through the door with a clean slate for me, I will judge him on everything he does as Everton manager.

I like Koeman cos ive done the research

Yea once you do that you see why. I initially always voted for Koeman but once I read there was interest in taking Emery, I was in that camp and disappointed when Koeman was going to be our next manager. If you spend a couple of hours looking into this man and his past and what he has achieved and his tactical approach you see why Saints was a stepping stone.

Do some research. I find there are some people on here anti Koeman solely because others like him. Don't do the special snowflake, it won't do you any favours in the next few years as we strengthen every season.

For our next manager there was a list of qualities people wanted. Obviously different people wanted different things and some prioritized certain aspects over others. However a reasonable outline would be;

1) Able to work with you/improve players
2) A winner- has shown they can win trophies as well as being a big name
3) A solid recent record
4) Experience in England.

While Koeman excels in none of those areas he has a bit of all of those. He doesn't have the big name status of say Mourinho, the winning record of say Emery, the experience of the league of a Pellegrini or the ability to integrate young players of De Boer. However he doesn't have the glaring gaps others do, he is a fairly steady choice.

I'll pop more on this on the youth page but over the last 5 years he has blooded a lot of young players particularly at Feyenoord. I think post AZ he has learnt from a lot of previous mistakes and been far calmer and more solid in his performance. I think at Southampton a number of his best young players were sold on and he still played Targett in some matches. I think you will see some of the young players get a chance to step up under him.

I'd have preferred De Boer. He has far less failure on his CV that Koeman. However he seems a safe pair of hands and his last 2 jobs have been very good. His work previous to that is mixed, though he still has several titles to his name and a decent win % at most of the clubs he's been at. I think he can handle the pressure quite well.

What's the situation with Monchi? Have we been solidly linked with him, is there a possibility he's on his way...I could scroll through a few hundred pages but I'm lazy.... Sue me.

Zat is the worst kind of people, he would rather read what others say rather than have a look around himself.

You see I spent my last few minutes before sleep last night reading post match interviews, from games they won and games they lost, its about the little things.

Mate I'm stil haunted by Wigan fans coming here saying how Martinez will be good for us.

Haunted to this day and I shiver in fear whenever Everton and his name is in the same sentence
