I'd be bitter too if a club that finished lower than us the past two seasons nicked our manager off us.

Agree that I would be a tad bitter, but some of the crap they are coming out with is just pure tosh.

They may have finished above us the last 2 seasons, different times now hopefully under Moshiri, and they won't be finishing above us again IMO.

What did they expect us to do ?
We were hardly going to chase a manager who finished below us, maybe they thought we would go after a manager who finished below us maybe one of three relegated managers what sort of idiot would do that?

AT.
How would you have categorised Ranieri's appointment last Summer?
Things have changed so much in football it is difficult to tell what lies ahead for the season.
First, however he has to be appointed.
But, the real indicator of where we are as a club will be our transfer activity this summer.
Leicester certainly turned football on it's head last year and hard to know if that could ever happen again. Hopefully. Anyway, how I saw Ranieri? I thought he was an under rated manager who would keep them up at around 15th, no way did I ever foresee what the Tinkerman delivered. Totally agree re our transfer dealings being a key statement of intent for us this summer. Squad retention is equally important though.

Eh, they're just (understandably) emotional. Reaction has been pretty subdued compared to what you'd expect. Imagine if we'd taken West Ham's manager?

He supposedly didn't really want to come to us mate, but he has no choice now because Southampton have told him to do one after his agent tried to call their bluff.

So we've supposedly now got a manager that doesn't want to be at Everton earning a reported £7m a year, with a £100m transfer war chest.
Ah sounds about right! Who'd want to come to us willingly ;)

Think some on that forum have chosen to either ignore or forget how bad Martinez was as a manager. For me he was Mike Walker level of poorness. A decent manager alone should make a huge difference.

So he's signed yet they haven't announced it? Why would that be the case? Surely you could just announce it and make a full statement at a later more convenient time?
