Outside of my misplaced enthusiasm for Colin Harvey, the only managerial appointment that excited me was when Mike Walker got the gig
I was underwhelmed when Bily Bingham replaced Harry.
I never wanted Gordon when Billy got fired.
I was a bit iffy when Howard came from Blackburn.......said "you wha" when he came back the second time and was positively downcast when he was all we could get third time around.
Colin's appointment I applauded.......was excited by Walker's arrival
I was happy to see Big Joe come in but mainly because it was any port in what was a raging storm at that time.
Walter Smith's appointment made me cringe.
Wee Davey Who said I when he followed the Howard trail from the lower leagues.
I was okay with Bobby but that was mainly because he wasn't Moyes.
And I would be totally underwhelmed with Ronald but for the fact he is part of a New Everton Order and I believe in the project

It's not so much Koeman getting me excited. It's Moshiri and Everton finally acting with decisiveness and belief.
