He's definitely not my favourite person and has done all sorts wrong over the years, but given that he (eventually) brought someone of the seeming calibre of Moshiri into the club, maybe it's time for us to at least ease off the vitriol? Not saying we have to go all "hail Bill" (I certainly won't be), but at least maybe we could stop the more personal attacks?
I think everyone needs to understand that Kenwright has led Everton whilst being totally skint in football terms. So he has tried to blag his way to a new ground financed by Tesco or whoever. Also little point investing in marketing until you have more fans who want to buy the stuff. Need some trophy profile first. What he has done it appears is find the owner we needed and got the club to virtually zero debt in order to sell. His tenure has been imperfect but under the circumstances I think he did quite well. Also Moyes did a good job in that respect. Not what we wanted but at least we were still alive and kicking when somebody with cash came along. Its difficult to seperate what he managed to do off the field from the fact we have been desperate to win something and it was frustrating as hell.

I think you are giving him far too much credit mate. He kept us in mediocrity for years and I will never forgive him for the Kings Dock let alone other things
