another little thought.

Imagine if Southampton announced their new manager before we even get round to announcing ours?

Be Dave Whelan 2.0

I can understand the meltdown if it were Jose or Diego incoming, but seriously, are you all getting nervous over Ronald Koeman?

Koeman has seriously impressive win ratios at each team he's managed.

I also don't know if you're old enough to have seen Koeman as a player but he was a top draw defender with a cracking freekick. He's managed to be successful with Southampton whilst having players sold from under him all the time.

I think he'll do a great job with our team if given some time and money to enable him to build without having to sell players.

I think a lot of people are excited at the thought that he might actually get our players fit, teach them how to defend and mix up our play a bit so it doesn't take us 3 hours to get the ball to our striker.

As first impressions go, this is leaving a rather foul taste in the mouth

Why didn't he just reschedule his holibops until after this was sorted? Not got enough money to cover the cancellation fee?

Because when he went away his side of the deal was done. The deal between the two clubs wasn't - but there was nothing further for him left to do. I imagine that the club also told him to keep his pre-scheduled holiday for this reason as well. No need for him to be in the thick of it when his side of the deal was sown up and completed.

I agree. It doesn't bode well for the future when he is extracting the urine before he has even got the job.

Why should he have to ?

Because if this 'brave, new Everton' is about projecting the club in a more forceful, relevant way - This is achieving the complete opposite

Also find it a bit strange for any manager to go on holiday whilst the transfer window opened - Especially one for a club needing a pretty major overhaul

Because mate. If he was here now then there would be no players, if he went on holiday now then he would have players on the pitch with no manager.

also i think it might be difficult to change the bookings on your holidays a week before you are meant to be going on them, travel agent might be a bit arsey about that
