I'm going in to work tomorrow morning and I'm gonna tell all my colleagues that we are getting Jose in cause I just can't help myself.

It's obviously highly likely I look like an utter fool but I'm just too flipping happy today after the news to even care.

A bit on de Boer from a Dutch mate of mine.

Positive: Playing experience, Nurturing coach, Solid performances, Open minded communicator.
Negative: Bland and not very exciting at times, has little experience with building through transfers, his style might not work in England - Also can cause his team to lose focus and become a bit lax (1-1 draws this season, ultimately costing his team the title)

Suitable for Everton?: I'd say he's suitable, aye

Don't see Mourinho coming. He has a self life of two years and wants big money to spend on players. I don't see the new owner giving him upwards of £150 million to rebuild the squad.

It's de Boer for me.

Talk sport were saying de boer had no premier league experience so could be risky. But an Evertonian caller pointed out his right hand men were bergkamp and Stam who have bossed it during their time. If we could get all 3 here I'd be very happy with that.

Not sure where the 2 year shelf life comes from. First time around he wanted to carry on at Chelski. What could he not like about living on Merseyside?
