Mourinho is poison.

Think back to how when we played Chelski we hated them. Not only did we hate them but we did it with a passion....horrible club.

Players and management wanting Everton players booked at every challenge, feigning injury to get a player sent off so they could gain advantage, harassing the officials for bookings, time, etc

Horrible club and created by Mourinho.

Yes he has won trophies, but at the same time his teams have been hated galore. They always will be as well as they are filthy to watch.

All winning teams get talked about when the times have gone, with positive comments and fondness, us, Forest, ManU, Arsenal - even the other lot from the dark side of the park. Great players, memories of special games, good football, good management etc.

Chelski great? No, just a team who won, dished out plastic flags, hated by a nation and loved it, players goosing their friends wives, poaching players at will, public enemy and loving it.

All that was created under Mourinho.

We deserve better than him, God knows we crave for success but let's not change to suit his singular philosophy. Would you really sell your soul to rub shoulders with those who we despise? Think about it for a moment.

We are Everton FC. Think of Dean, Catterick, Labone, Harvey, Ball, Kendall, Watson, Southall, all Everton greats.....all who are better in any way imaginable than that sulk from Portugal.

Everton are better, we deserve better, so let's hope Mr Moshiri can do his best for Everton, for us and that means no to Jose.

There was me thinking football was about winning.

Mate, I'm now a grown man and I've never seen Everton win a trophy. I'm really not arsed if nobody would like us, Mourinho would win the lot and it would be great. Pull yourself together.

I just can't get exited over Koeman atall. Now Jose..... lol

Mourinho didn't create the horrible club, Abramovich did.

Couldn't give one if other clubs saw us as the scum of the earth, I just want to win things. They can't say we were crap before Jose came to us like we can with Chelsea, they have no history but we certainly do.

Moyes comes back, has a swipe at getting 'what you deserve' for trying that 'fancy Dan' attacking football malarkey, spends £100m buying back Fellaini, 4 over 30 centre halves, Shay Given and John Ruddy.
Then sells anyone under 25.

But we might bore ourselves to 6th even 5th.

Deja vu.

Please get FDB,
FDB, The Dutch Martinez

Moyes actually made some good signings you know. Short memories.

Y'know what mate...there's so much of that I agree with.

Yet, like a shot, I'd take it because - TBH - I'm sick to the back ones of being plucky, brave, irrelevant EVERTON...'aren't they lovely, been in the division for ages an' that'.

It makes me puke TBH.

Answer me this - if we'd have 'parked a bus' at varying points this season where would we be?

And as much as I like PHIL JAGS...well, could you see TERRY sat off tying his laces and saying nowt with the pen scenario? I can't...

We need some grit because we have none.

Frankly I'd sooner us not be liked than patronized.

You may think because we're EVERTON we deserve better...thing is, most others don't see that.

Pundits have us marked as smaller than SOUTHAMPTON.

Reason enough to embrace a bit of nasty for me that.

We hated them just like we hate anyone that is winning things, if he comes to Everton and everyone hates us because we are winning things I will be more than happy.

Patted on the head for being nice and trophyless or hated by a condesrnding media and winning stuff i know which i would choose

For me any of Jose, De Boer or Emery would be a fantastic appointment and would guarantee success- the latter two for maybe a long term project and Jose for a year or two.

Being hated would be a good start because it would be showing we were doing something right. Whoever comes in has to make us hated by everyone and not just by the yo yo clubs with delusions of grandeur like present.

Fair point Egg

I want us to win trophies so if we did get him I certainly wouldn't be gutted.

I think he is classless - I would prefer us to win with some class.

I agree with many points you say though.

If Mourinho comes to Everton at this present time I will be thoroughly shocked, he won't choose us.
