Why would you want him over Koeman?

Either would be OK for me.

I'd go De Boer over him as getting him after a good run with Saints feels similar to Mike Walker's good run with Norwich.

Might not of course. Could go like Poccetino after he went to Spurs.

Us getting Mourinho was always dependant on Utd not wanting him, if he goes to Utd we will end up with Koeman I reckon.

Ross and stones both would appeal to Jose at untied as they are both English. I can see the club letting stones go there though, perhaps even a double deal for lukaku as well.
