That list lol

We could do a lot worse than Eddie Howe imo, Evertonian who has done a cracking job at an absolute nothing of a club. Could he do better with real resources?

It´s just another appointment from the Silva and Koeman category. Tbh though, I think it´s the most likely person our board will go for. I just can´t see it turning out any differently.

He was complaining about the United squad when they finished 2nd in the league. The chances of him thinking Everton are a challenge worth taking are nonexistent.
I don’t think we can get him but tbf the expectations at united at the time were to challenge for the league when it’s clear for before and after José that he had massively overachieved in getting 2nd place

Yeah, he´s definitely been vindicated by what´s happened since at United. I wish we could get him but we are just not in a position to attract managers like that.

No reason to say a mourinho or similar would do any better until we try, I just want silva out and an honest evertonian who likes attacking football and has done a really good job with no resources would be worth a crack imo
Also, the question of can he spend money well when he has it isn’t a thing anymore as it’s clear brands does that side of things

I can’t wait for the excitement of our next appointment, only for Eddie Howe or Sean dyche to walk though the door

Everton, ruining footy since the 90’s

This is the problem and probably the biggest reason why Silva will remain in charge. The board know they won´t attract a big name to please the fans. We will stay with Silva until it reaches as grim as it can get. Think Martinez being saved from Goodison after we were smashed 3-0 up at Sunderland.

Marcelino or Arteta if you're wanting a forward thinking approach.

Only issue with Marcelino is he doesn't know the league or the language.

Issue with Arteta is obviously experience.

We don't need a 'big name'. We need a good manager.

Brands wants to build a young, dynamic team an inventive and incisive style of play. Why not have the same with the manager. Bring the best little Spaniard home
