I've just been reading the Bournemouth forum, being nosey. They don't seem to think Howe will move North and its suggested his missus played a part of him leaving Burnley.

One manager that I don't know a lot about and also never seems to get a mention is the bloke Santos at Wolves. He has done a very good job there, but I don't know that much about him to judge whether he would be good enough for us

Just get Arteta in and give him some money in January. Maybe City can loan us some of their reserves, that'd be an improvement on what we've currently got.

Santos would not leave Wolves to come here.

Can't believe people are saying Howe. We need to stop appointing fellas who've never won a thing. Stick your hand in your pocket Mosh and get Simeone or Allegri.

Do you think they are feasible targets?

I don't think money alone is going to prise Simeone from Madrid for instance where they speak his native tongue, allegedly the United job is the only one that may tempt him to the UK:

Allegri also has limited English but would have his pick of a number of top positions.

I'm not saying the board shouldn't be ambitious and try to land a top target, but we have to be realistic about where we are at present and how attractive a position the Everton manager's job is in relation to other European clubs?
