The English club Everton has already “started contacts with Israeli businessman Pini Zahavi” to negotiate the possibility of hiring Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who recently won the Libertadores Cup and Brasileirão (Brazilian football's first league). The news is advanced by the Diário de Notícias, which says that Jorge Jesus' goodbye to Flamengo is “inevitable”. The Portuguese coach, however, should only leave after playing in the Club World Cup, proof that Flamengo will play in December.

Does he meet the quota? Relegation? Loserism ? Gamble?
Is he enough of a risk ? Is there potentially a good coach In there ?

Even if he’s crucified at first we’ll be sound and back by April.

Jorge Jesus would be perfect. Stacks of experience and our links to Reinier might get even more serious.

Will Everton do the right thing for once?

I mean, why wouldn’t you want this guy instead of the absolute dirge that’s been linked so far.

He's literally another bloke whos won nothing than pub trophies in a 3 horse semi quality league - the same one Silva looked like Jose lite in.

Club does nothing but approach bums (even though it sounds like rubbish).
