Any new manager would need to be allowed to make a couple of smart signings in Jan. That midfield is horrific, properly weakened by injuries, a centre back would be useful as well as some extra firepower.

Unless there's someone worth promoting from the u23s. That would take some stones though.
 


Howe is hired but won’t take over until the weekend. Big Dunc for the derby makes a lot of sense because you don’t want your new manager taking that beating.

His ability is similar to Silva, from small club, young without experience, no champion, no European experience, target is not relegation of team every season, I don't see any progress or different to Silva if we find him.

He’d be another managerial appointment that proves the board are in no way ambitious.
 
Lets be honest, Benitez is the only realistic option with credentials to clean up this mess we are into.

Majority of our fan base would be against it, but he's got a degree in Premier League football. Few wins and a stability would shut them up quickly.


I agree only Rafael and Moyes are realistic options, both managers are experienced premier league managers and have European competition experience, both can take over the team quickly with short adaptation time, my first choice is Rafael and second choice is Moyes.
