Gary Potter - Brighton’s manager.

....Graham Potter, currently 50-1 to be our next manager.

I don’t think a sacking is imminent, but a new appointment could be difficult given the stage of the season. Saying that, the domino’s might start to fall with Man Utd and Spurs.

If moves are afoot, I would think the S American market could be where Brands looks. He’s known to have good knowledge and contacts in the area. I don’t know potential candidates, but that could be the place to consider as opposed to plucking somebody off the merry-go-round.

Eddie Howe use to be in the boys pen with holes in his shoes and scummy fingernails don't you know.

Arteta 2nd. Interesting, and he's my pick too. My arsenal supporting senior editor wants Emery out asap and arteta or Vieira in

And what are the odds of getting a top manager, unless they suddenly feel like a challenge
Is that where Moyes could come in? He has more (harsh) experience of the world than when he left. He never let Everton go down. Kept West Ham up. More money now than he had to spend on a squad. And he would have something to prove. And if he is a disappointment at the end of the season, he can go and we are not a one season per manager club - more attractive to a bigger candidate. Cannot possibly be worse than Silva. He might even do it.
But he would need to say he is sorry first.

Javi Garcia is available. He'd meet Moshiri's criteria of being a crap manager that has just been sacked by Watford. He had them in 9th place and took him to a cup final as well.

In a perfect world, Simeone.

In the real world, Benitez is probably the best of that lot. Arteta would be worth a punt until Arsenal came calling. Marcelino seems a long shot but I'd be happy with him.

Allegri - sacked by Juventus for only getting to the quarter finals of the Champions league after four years of straight domestic doubles 2015-2018

Highest win percentage (70,4%) in the history of Juventus.

Having a year off. But maybe he needs a job.

At least we could pay for some more English lessons for him to get him ready (after Lampard got the Chelsea job)

Wouldnt be suprised if it was Louis Van Gaal who came in. Mates with Brands from the AZ days.

I don't think so but on a similar note Giovanni van Bronckhorst would be a dark horse, particularly if we were running down the list and Brands fell under pressure to make an appointment.

It would be a no from me, but not surprising if it came to it.

Currently working at City, his role is undefined.

Manchester City are preparing for life after Pep Guardiola after giving Dutch coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst an access-all-areas role at the club.

Van Bronckhorst, 44, has spent the last month working behind the scenes at the Etihad after being persuaded by City chiefs to ditch his plan to take a one-year sabbatical following his decision to step down as boss of Feyenoord at the end of last season.

The Premier League champions have claimed that their relationship with the former Barcelona , Arsenal and Rangers midfielder is an informal arrangement designed to help him further develop his expertise.

But Sunday Mirror Sport understands that City approached Van Bronckhorst – who has signed a contract that has put him on the payroll.

The plan is for him to remain in Manchester if it proves a good fit.
