That girl is nice.

They can fix this if they are/have sounded out a replacement manager, if they sack him without having a replacement and Unsworth takes charge. I’m done with this club.

If it hasn’t escaped your attention, we have spent half a billion since Moyes left. We need to get back to basic football principles and embrace hard work, playing as a team and showing pride on the pitch.

Shirkers were never allowed under Moyes, which was one of the reasons we used to punch above our weight.

"Hi Farhad, I used to be manager here six or seven years ago, but had done nothing of note in the job for about five years before leaving except moan about knives at gunfights to keep my own reputation in tact whilst I waved my arse in the air hoping United would take me when SAF retired.

My only achievement since leaving here is to be "not terrible" at West Ham for a few months. Aside from that, I've been totally and completely useless for this entire decade.

Stil, 2020 is a fresh start eh! Can I have a job? Ta."

People mock Moyes, but cannot come up with a realistic target as an alternative. I mean, Diego Simeone? Give me an effing break.

We are looking at Moyes, Hughes or, at a push, Howe.

The board are probably currently seeking a cut price Moyes (a horrible thought), a phone call to Preston maybe in the offing once more..... Alex Neil, cheap as chips.

Anyone voting for Poch is having a laugh surely?

Not a manager around is going to want this mess, least of all one of the best in the world who has his pick.

The amusing thing about the River Plate guy is he is a cup manager who does not really care about the league. Just the guy for a relegation battle!

Benitez is about the only genuinely safe bet to get us out of this.

Problem is, more so than his past, where does that get us in the longer term? It's just another season in the premier league but we need someone or something transformative to change the direction we are heading. If we stay on this path we will be back in the same position in a year or two.

Transformation though is going to need us to gamble and get very lucky.

You know what? I could actually see that getting him the gig

How is he a safe bet? He has the worst form in China (!), will cost 20 million, and on top of that he relegated Newcastle in a similar situation!

Sam or Moyes are better in our scenario, and Moyes is a better manager than Sam.
