What happens if we give dunc the next 2 and we lose them. Then people will be sayin we should have had the new man in charge
True! but then the same can be said for a new manager trying to implement his ideas too soon etc. Either way its a dice roll but I'd roll for Dunc for the next 2 weeks.

What indicates that? This isn't fantasy land where we can go and get pep or klopp.

The guy has properly managed in 4 countries and won the title in 3 of those.

He's a very good manager
Hope you are right, just cant see it. His journeyman CV indicates we will be in the same position in less than 12 months. Also doesnt seem the sort who can motivate our rabble.

Obviously the likes of Ancelotti and Poch would be the dream scenario

Under that would likely be Kovac for me, because it'd be an interesting selection and I'd be intrigued to see how it'd go

Then it'd be Benitez, as I do think he's a good manager and I don't mind less fancy football so long as the mentality is right

Emery would be next. I wanted him before Arsenal but he didn't look so hot there and I'm not so sure he's cut out for the Premier League (It really is a different world to continental Europe and requires a different approach that Emery might not be capable of)

Keeping Big Dunc would come after that, as taking a gamble on whether he could sustain that level of commitment for the rest of the season would be more attractive to me than going for guys in the next tier down (Plus I'm a hopeless romantic sometimes)

Then it'd be Moyes

I'd have Vitor bottom, just because his record outside of Portugal is questionable (With Munich 1860 being the real worrying one)

If someone said "Dunc till the end of the season with a top manager coming in after that" I'd be willing to give that a go too

1. Simeone
2. Ancelotti
3. Pochettino

This will take a while, so let Duncan manage until we get one of these or move onto list B.

Moyes, Perreira, and everyone the bookies reckon should be on list D
