This seems like a case of the board being almost entirely split on how to proceed. Hence the dragging out.

Yes - or a case in which they’ve been trying to find a suitable choice other than Moyes but they are having a hard time finding any takers.

After much thought, I am fine with a Moyes appointment. It won’t result in any trophies, but if he can get this squad playing cohesive football and working hard, we will finish somewhere between 9-13.

the biggest thing to me is removing some of the bloat from the squad and getting the best out of DCL, Richarlison, and Moise Kean. Those three are the future.

For the immediate future I believe he is. They’ve spent money every transfer window to try and replace him and somehow he keeps getting first team minutes.

he’s a hard worker - something clearly lacking within the rest of the squad. Need a manager to get the best out of him.

True, was a long time ago, it's as mad thinking he would do the same job now as it is still blaming him for our current situation but people still do.
