What I don't get is this notion of waiting to appoint a manager because of our upcoming bad run.
First of all what kind of manager are we getting if we are afraid to appoint him because of a couple of tough games?
Secondly it's not a great run but how tough is it?
Chelsea are decent but certainly beatable at home, Arsenal and Manchester United are struggling like us (one or both may not even have a manager themselves), Burnley and Newcastle are winnable and a home draw in the league cup is what everyone wants. Even the FA cup derby, what a way to make your mark.
