What I don't get is this notion of waiting to appoint a manager because of our upcoming bad run.

First of all what kind of manager are we getting if we are afraid to appoint him because of a couple of tough games?

Secondly it's not a great run but how tough is it?

Chelsea are decent but certainly beatable at home, Arsenal and Manchester United are struggling like us (one or both may not even have a manager themselves), Burnley and Newcastle are winnable and a home draw in the league cup is what everyone wants. Even the FA cup derby, what a way to make your mark.

When Sam took over he spent a match alongside Moshiri for PR purposes. They will want a cozy photo session with Moyes laughing and drinking tea with Mosh and Brands, to pretend it is one big happy family.

Meanwhile Brands will be working behind the scenes to destabilize everything as he doesn’t want to lose power, and Moyes will be trying to get at least some say in recruitment. Would be fair enough, as Brands has been atrocious
