We won’t be going anywhere near Vitor at £30m a year. We won’t want another expensive pay off if it all goes tits up.

Can just imagine the horrible lack of cohesion going on between Brands, Moshiri and Kenwright. Really, Moshiri and Kenwright should pipe down and keep their noses out of it, letting the man they employed actually do his job, but you know they won’t, so...

Kenwright will be pushing Moyes because he’s a hopeless old romantic.

Moshiri will be pushing a name regardless of their actual suitability, because he’s clouded by ideas of grandeur.

Brands will actually be looking for someone who fits his idea of the future, and who will play in a way which doesn’t mean he has to replace the entire squad again.

As I said, the former two need to pipe down and let Brands get on with it.

Myers reporting from 2015 shock horror
Myers subscribes to the infinite world model of journalism. In some reality he will be right. Eventually.

Anyway, Diego Simeone. Obviously he won't be coming, but who is the next Diego? Him! I have no idea who it that is, but I hope someone at Everton does.

Hoping and praying it's not Moyes. The only thing I can think is if it were him they'd have him in right away as he's free and wouldn't need time to discuss anything. If he's brought in that's the official end of any credibility Moshiri ever had.

Pep and klopp had no perm experience.
Prem experience has gotten us nowhere so far because the only managers with prem experience that we could get are crap.

Pep had won 6 major league titles with Barcelona and Bayern, and countless other trophies.

Klopp had won 2 league titles and got to a champions league final with Borussia in a top league.

Vitor hasn't won [Poor language removed] in comparison.

Could be negotiation over contract like we want only till the end of the season to see how it goes and Moyes wants a 3 year contract

In which case you say "Thank you very much Mr Moyes we'll be in touch" then volley his CV into the bin.

Like reluctantly asking a price from a guy to do a fiddly DIY job you aren't sure about and he brings you a quote to rewire your house.
