My weekend notes: Chiefs better on offense with Kelce available. Chiefs better on defense with Chris Jones. Jags better on offense when they get two feet down in the end zone. TL not as accurate as we would hope, but it was a tough day to be a QB yesterday in Jax and Mahomes made plays when needed. Good to see the love between Andy and Doug. Thanks for the knee at the end - there was no point to pushing it.

I suspect there may be another meeting later this season. Hope so.

Bears are awful. Packers will be up and down with Love. Lions will be inconsistent with their defence. Vikings have problems on defence and running the ball. Any one of 3 can win that division.

Bears should be punished for the orange hats and jerseys. Who was that team, again? Heresy.

They are bad in the way that the Bears are traditionally bad, especially when they are very bad. I hope they (and the Colts) don't get their QB damaged beyond repair. Both deserve better.
 

Tough game for the Giants tonight, if we play like the Cowboys game and the first half against the Cardinals then the Niners will pick us off easily, however we have a chance if we play like we did second half last Sunday

If Daboll calls the plays like he was rumoured to be doing in the 2nd half against the Cardinals, you might at least make it competitive. But that is one grim Niners roster, they will steamroll many teams this year

Carnage everywhere.
All sorts of mad rumours involving the defensive coordinator Alan Williams and the FBI, who ended up resigning on health grounds.
Then Justin Fields made a slightly Ill thought out but innocent comment about the coaching he's getting and that set off more chaos.
Then the left tackle was put on injured reserve and could be out for the season.

Mate, the Bears are the Everton of the NFL. Original, historical, deeply loved, and cluelessly owned and managed.

The quest for Arlington Park looks like the Tesco deal in Kirkby. They'll end up in a Walmart parking lot in Arlington Park while they test the NFL's stance against relegation, if history is our guide. Their fans deserve better, and have deserved better since Vince Lombardi walked into City Stadium and especially since GB got Lord Farve from Atlanta for an old RC Cola bottlecap. But then, there was that one magical season, wasn't there... No team has won a Super Bowl more emphatically.

Oh I know, a few other people compare their teams to Everton but without doubt the Bears are Everton!
