Detroit even tried to gift wrap that game with the 4th down miss and the Chiefs still couldn’t cash in.

The Mahomes fanboys will never admit it but Kelce is the real difference maker in that offense. KC looked much less explosive without him drawing attention from everyone else.

Mahomes is the best who ever did it imo. But it's a team sport, and the hubris of Chiefs fans to think he could do it without his best weapon and one of the best defensive players in the game is a bit mad in retrospect. Even Brady would struggle with that situation
 
Receivers lost the game for the Chiefs. You did not need Travis Kelce to win that game. Just some players who can catch. 9 drops apparently. They should have gone all out for Hopkins or OBJ.

It was the Chiefs front office who showed hubris - many fans wanted some proven receivers brought in.
