NFL 2023 season

Not his fault, he needed to get them up the field fast because of crap kicking and I thought LaFleur should have been using those timeouts a lot earlier
Agree on the timeouts. And the kicker issue has been a problem all year. But Love should have thrown that away and lived to fight another play. Weirdly almost all his worst throws this year have been forcing the ball to Watson and getting picked.

Packers did all the things they needed to do to win. But did too many basic fundamental mistakes that mean you probably lose.

Still over exceeded expectations for the year but losing like that is pretty horrible.

It was an incredible year and they are so young. Big things ahead. And I will be forever thankful to them for vapourising the Cowboys

Looking like the Ravens will manhandle any team that comes from the NFC, already made easy work of the 49ers a few week ago and can't see anything different in the superbowl vs them, the lions or the bucs

What a horrible throw to toss the game in the bin. No need.
It wouldn't have been the one I would have staked the game on, but I can see it. The situation was dire. Let's be honest, any NFL QB has to think he has the physical tools to go the full John Elway down six with forty seconds left at his own ten.

If they don't, they might as well quit now. If Hostetler and Trent Dilfer game management didn't work, and the game is on the line, chuck it up and see what happens.

What comes with age (or enough viewing) is the realization that the clock still offers enough plays to chain together field goal position, and that he should put it all on red and spin the wheel on the next one. It's a better gamble than the game state when he heaved it up.

Young QBs are human, and often only learn their own mortality through pain. You think Jon Rahm learned how to manage a golf course like a god through anything other than all the near misses? I doubt it. A few people are lucky, and have a gift for that side of the game. Most do not.

If this is someone being done I dread to think what they would be like when in form. Two passing TDs and two TDs for himself
Needs a complete game against the bills or Chiefs. He turns in a first half like that against either and it will be good night for him.

These are not rookie QB’s he will be up against

To be fair I’m not sure why any other team hasn’t tried putting a running back in at qb, it’s worked for the Ravens, would be interesting to see how far the concept can be pushed

1-2 against Allen
1-3 against Mahomes.

Jackson had 3 snaps against the Bills in his and Allen’s rookie season. The Ravens won but that was down to Flacco’s 3TDs. Allen came in at some point to take over from Nathan Peterman. So I haven’t counted that game.

It’s gonna be tough to call against whoever he faces in the Championship game, but history suggests he may fall short.
