The Wild trading 2 bottom 6 guys and a 6th rounder for another bottom 6 guy who’s a bit taller and THEN the GM coming out and saying “we’ll have our day” and staying put makes absolutely zero sense, except when you see that the trade happened 30m before the Brock Nelson trade.

Does Daniel Levy own the Wild or something?

The owner is actually half decent! It Guerin the GM who’s kind of gone from unquestionable to making some really really odd moves.

My guess is they thought they were getting Nelson or maybe Boesser, got rid of some salaries and dropped the ball spectacularly

Stars with a shocking collapse down the stretch and Miro isn't coming back to face the Avs, could be back for the 2nd round. For all the good that Jim Nill has done, signing Dumba has been an absolute blunder and while I'm willing to give Rantanen more time (because he's obviously very good) he hasn't exactly settled either. Maybe this is the sort of thing when teams switch to playoff mode, but every one of the recent games has been the same and last night maybe the worst. Gave up a 3 goal lead and then later a 2 goal lead both in the 3rd period to lose in OT. This ain't good.

He was struggling in Carolina too but surely it wasn't all from playing with MacKinnon?

I'm excited we are bringing Demidov over for the playoffs.

Just bought tickets for Friday's Montreal vs Ottawa game with my brother.

I'd love to take the WC1 spot and get Toronto

Ok, he's far better than he was in Carolina. I think he's at 16g, 15 points (5g, 10a) and +4. Dallas is a talented team but it's a grind first mentality. My impression of him and Colorado is high speed, high energy superstar. If that's what he is it will take time to settle. Also with personalities--Dallas has a lot of personalities and he's not even the big Finn in the clubhouse--that's Miro by default. I think it will all get worked out, but it may not get worked out before these playoffs are over.
