My question would be: if he's intent on a job elsewhere (Arsenal) why does his agent need to be here at GP today?

...I’m not so sure about him being a ‘football fan’, very much doubt he follows the global game to that extent. He’ll listen to what the likes of Brands recommends and then make a decision based on the power of the argument.
I reckon this will be the first Brands recommended appointment.

We’re talking about Bayern, not some second division German team. I’m sure casual news reading will be enough for anyone to be aware of who is managing the big teams in different league. Having the time and effort to study the managers performance is another story.

How do you explain West Brom. It could simply be a case of going to watch matches to get a feel for the English game and taking his agent along to see what he thinks. Plenty of managers go to games all the time, even on days off in between matches.
