Well in his first season as manager there (2016-17) only Rebic played for Frankfurt and he scored 2 goals all season.

In his final season (2017-18) he had all three and they combined for a world class tally of 23 league goals.

Why's it concerning? Are Frankfurt meant to win the Bundesliga or something? Apparently Bayern top brass didn't like him; still won the treble but doesn't mean much for them.

I never said they stood out - I said I was impressed by his team.

I just want to point out. He is a solid coach. I love following the Bundesliga as I find it interesting. Kovac is a solid coach all around. Seemed to have decent tactics throughout the bundesliga but fell out of favor with both players and management due to poor performances in big games (Champions League). Would he be a massive boost for our team, absolutely! Do I think he would be one of the better managers we have had in a years, of course. Just know that he struggled massively at times with Bayern’s roster.

No mein bull testorone friend, but it doesn't scream out "we must hire this man." Did they not then kick on further when he departed?

I'm open to all that aren't named Moyes, Howe, Hughes, Benitez, Arteta. Just assessing our options.
