His composure for the Kean assist was insane, looks so dynamic going forward. We’ve still to see how good his defending is, how he’ll cope with clever movement, tricky wingers, positioning etc. so agree with sensible shouts not to build him up too soon or put pressure on him....but what a prospect!

Very different players I think. Digne always looking for the nice lofted cross into the box, sometimes delivering from a bit deeper. This chap likes to beat his man get to the corner line and fizz one hard and fast across the goal. Both great options depending on the opposition

Was wondering how this kid seemed to come out of nowhere so went back to some articles from when he signed and says Juventus and RB Leipzig were after him too but he chose us. Good signs.

Think we might be in for a bit of a bump when he first has to defend properly at a higher level - but feel like with his athleticism he should eventually be at least 'fine' defensively with the right coaching.

Must be cool for him to understudy a fellow Frenchman in Digne too.

Ha, fair! Might as well dispense with the concept of defending and just play wingers. There’s a balance isn’t there, that’s why Digne is so good - he can do both.

A bit of fantasy footballing and two wing backs is rarely done, probably for good reason...but still, in the right situation they could run a muck.

Yeah but there's no shouts to play Arnold as a winger, because they would lose what he gives them as a fullback..

The modern fullback is very much an attacking weapon anyway. If you push their starting position forward, they're not able to arrive in the space in the same way as they can when overlap from the back.

Should leave Nils where he is IMO
