If he worked with Judas Baines he'd now be turning his back on crosses and jogging back in to his own half on counter attacks.
Baines was a visionary. He always stood with his arms behind his back, before the handball rule changed. Now they'll all be learning it.

A good attacking full back doesn't necessarily make a good winger

They need the space a left-side midfielder or forward creates for them

You only really play a quick left-footed midfield on the left-wing in a 4-4-2 in which you want your left-back to stay put and rely on the wingers to get down and put the crosses in.

In summary...

...stop saying let's put him on the left-wing.

He didn't seem to need much space to run in to when he pulled it back for Kean to score against fleetwood.
He's fast, good with his feet and likes to take players on. He's also young. I'd like to see him play left in a front 3 or a midfield 4.
Either way, it's moot as he'd be behind Iwobi, Gordon and maybe Bernard for that position anyway.
