Tricky one.

On one hand I'm saying we're risking setting Godfrey up to fail.

So I'm inclined to think throwing him in a team who are in terrible form probably isn't the best idea.

I’d maybe understand if the alternative was another left back and not a finished central midfielder.

Delph has always been a LB cover though.

Played a fair bit there for Man City.

I said before/during/after the last game rather than Iwobi, I'd have went Delph or Niels.

Sure he played about 8 games there for them. He has never been a left back and he’s been injured his whole career so is now unable to even play his natural position. And even if you want to make the case, why isn’t Nkounkou on the bench for when this experiment clearly goes horribly wrong?
