If VDM plays, I would assume it would be off the bench at say minute 60. Can't see him starting at all. Not after not playing for this long.

I think we knew Pienaar wouldn't be fit for this match. When is he due back?

This might be the opportunity to push Fernandes further up the pitch and not next to Carsley as many of you had rightly observed. Give him more license to attack.

we dont have many midfeilders avalable, so i expect 4-4-2, unless we bring either Neville or VDM into the midfeild. Fernandez played a few games out wide last year (looked good against pompy) so that could be an option while Arteta and Pienaar are out.
