Good point, but a source is helpful - or an actual sighting. What is not credible is not backing up a claim.
There is a difference between a rumour and someone just talking bollocks. We know how easy it is to build these rumours, and very few have sources.
For instance if I read a piece from the BBC saying this:
"According to the BBC Merseyside, Nolan is currently in talks over a move to Goodison"
That is still a rumour, but a credible one.
This however isn't:
"A friend text me saying he just heard that his uncle saw a man who was delivering a fridge to Bellefield and he heard that someone said Nolan was having a medical"
