Non League Football

Any interesting pre season games been announced for any your lads clubs yet?

We (Bootle) have FC United away and Southport at home this pre season. Likely to see Michael Carberry back at Bootle with Southport as he has just signed for them. Hopefully he can do well there.

Good news that the loathsome chairman of my non league club Welling United has finally left after almost running the club into the ground. I boycotted the games this season for the first time in 25 plus years. Missed it but couldn't watch while he was in charge. Looking forward to going back pre season.
How did he run the club into the ground? Just lack of investment etc?

Goldberg?

Went to Notts v Grimsby other night 12000 gate not bad considering it was on BT . 2000 from Grimsby . Notts lacking in midfield Grimsby deserved to win. Stockport fans at Notts 3 years ago were brilliant never stopped singing , think National League has some decent sized teams competing at top.
Tell us how that farcical promotion thing works.
I'm lost.
