Took stuff nearly every weekend during the ages 21-25, met some of my best friends (and my now fiancée), had some great experiences and very few bad ones.
There was a month or two when I was probably taking K a bit too much, got in a bit of trouble with by (still) GF and I stopped. It was more than I was taking in the house in the week at 3pm as opposed to being out with my pals in da club so that stopped pretty quickly.
Do not regret anything from that period though, I didn't smoke much weed which may have helped. Never went near legal highs.
I was nearly always sensible and knew my limit.

'99-'02 was all about E's and K, dancing my aching jaws off without sleep Friday-to-Sunday...mostly Brixton, but also warehouse parties all over the hop. Ibiza in 2002 was the Final, took me 3 days to score acid, then took the lot in a dizzy cocktail of bursting thermometer tubes, leaving a Care-Bear-esque Hed Kandi party to seek out brutalist techno at Space...ending up hysterically delirously euphoric on the beach with visions of how gorgeous everything and everyone is. Fun times.
After that era ended up playing at squat parties myself but only took the wine and the odd spliff. Moved to Berlin a few years after that and quickly got bored of the too-polite techno and crap stimulants.
...still have an annual LSD journey: the tradition is while peaking play a few hours of cosmic synth musik, then the next day I'll chop out the best bits and upload it as an album.
more to do still...want to meet the machine elves at some point...

I was always sorted for E's and whizz around 89-93, back when E's were good, E's were good.
Used to like a smoke back then too. Not done any of that for a while(apart from stag do in Portugal couple of years ago).
Everyone seems to be beaked up when you go out these days. Have tried it but just stick to beer now. Can't deal with the hangovers these days.
