Having seen quite a bit of them this season they generally have the same tactics as we do, patient, possession based football, high pressing, and not bad in the final third. However, in a couple of games (Swansea for instance) to confuse the opposition they drop right off and play the quick counter. It's really confusing for the opposition. Norwich go from having 70% possession in most games to having 30%. The opposition aren't set up to have that much ball and they don't know what to do with it. Hopefully they don't try it on us, but we should cope with it. We're a little more adaptable that Swansea and have reasonable speed and discipline when it comes to be being countered against especially when McCarthy is playing.
Also remember that Alex Neil was the Hamilton Accies DM who was personally tasked with mentoring Jamesey from the age of 14-17. If there's one manager which specialist knowledge of how to unlock us, it might be ALex Neil. It might be an idea to give him an extra games rest and not rush him back.

Palace weren't allowed to play how they normally do and Norwich won't be allowed either, we'll have more of the ball and Norwich will have to do a lot of defending, a la Palace.

Palace have been an open attacking team

my whole point is Norwich have randomly switched tactics for games before, they might let us have the ball and sit off us. It will nullify our pace, make us commit more forward to break them down as we get frustrated, then they hit us with long balls on the counter.
They've done it 2-3 time before, confused the hell out of the opposition who were set up to keep possession, sit back, draw them out and counter themselves

When it is posted on the front page of the site the photo I've used us Howard grabbing Van Den Hauwe by the face at the end of that game.

Ace days.
Great pic that. Used to frame old black and white pics for my dad. May do that one in honour. Everyone's Christmas presents sorted
