Nope, I don't support Everton. For those of you who know your stuff, you can probably guess by my name that I'm a Leeds supporter. But I have a very soft spot for Everton and your fans - I have a soft spot for Scousers in general! - and I always used to enjoy matches against you. From the times I've been over to Liverpool your fans are great to banter with, and it's always nice to speak to people from the other side of the pennines without being called a "dirty Yorkshire [Poor language removed]!" Which is why I prefer Scousers to Mancs.(y)

So yeah, this seems to be a pretty cool forum here, hope to stick around and provide some banter.

seriously though guys, the pineapple on pizza question has never been more misdirected, salt on his spuds is more the case, he won't have tried any of that foreign muck and probably thinks that Tortellini used to play for Inter.

the pastie question however will be a cap that fits, what's your fav. pastie mate ?

Haha, well what can I say? Us Yorkehs don't like any of them outsiders, us!

As for pasties, it varies, can't be beaten without a bit o' t'graveh though.

You get called a "wool"? You from St. Helen's? Do you also support their scum of a rugby team?(y)

I guess Rugby rivalry isn't as intense as football unless you're from Hull of course! I don't hate St. Helens half as much as I hate Man United but I still love my banter with their fans.(y)

But yeah, Everton are the only team from the NW I like. Obviously I hate Man United, given. Man City, I've lost respect for since they're trying to buy success and their fans now seem to think they're indestructable. Liverpool, they think they're entitled to Champion's League football and they have a very self-pitying attitude. And let's not mention all these tin pot clubs from the inbred backwater shitholes of Lancashire and Cumbria, such as Burnley, Blackpool, Carlisle, etc.

All this hype about getting 4th place, I'd love to see you lot get it!b)

I am most certainly not, I live near Leigh, and that rivalry goes back to the civil war. The powers that be decided to make Leigh part of the borough of pie-eaters but the as far as we are all concerned we are nothing to do with them and they care very little for us apart from collecting our council tax, independence shall be gained again one day as we cast aside the shackles and chuck away the pastry lid from our pan 'o' lobbie.

On his day he's a quality player, examples being the FA Cup at OT in January, I'd even go as far to say that at his best he is Prem quality. Actually, weren't you lot interested in him?

But anyway, lately he's been quiet. He needs to get off his arse and do some work. He obviously thinks winning a cup is more important than the league but in my eyes we should get promoted first before we start thinking about beating Prem teams in order to get a trophy. Although Leeds in Div 2 making it to a 4th round replay...could be worse.b)

On a personal level I prefer Becchio anyway. Messi? Pfft. Tevez? Pfft. Becchio is the best current Argie striker!(y)
