On his day he's a quality player, examples being the FA Cup at OT in January, I'd even go as far to say that at his best he is Prem quality. Actually, weren't you lot interested in him?

But anyway, lately he's been quiet. He needs to get off his arse and do some work. He obviously thinks winning a cup is more important than the league but in my eyes we should get promoted first before we start thinking about beating Prem teams in order to get a trophy. Although Leeds in Div 2 making it to a 4th round replay...could be worse.b)

On a personal level I prefer Becchio anyway. Messi? Pfft. Tevez? Pfft. Becchio is the best current Argie striker!

Just a rumour for the time being, that. But it's quite impressive how teams are competing for one of our players. Everton, West Ham, Newcastle. And none of those clubs are exactly tin-pot.

I'd be sad to see him go but at the same time he's a player with a lot of potential which would be wasted if he spent a lot of his career in the third tier. As long as he gets us to Championship then fair play.

If you end up getting him.....*sniff*.....just take care of m'boy would ya?...*sniff*

I'm not sure if he'd be good enough to start, I'd say Saha is a better player and has obviously had more experience with Prem football, and you'll also have to bear in mind if Saha is staying with you guys or not for next season, and if you'll play in formations outside of your seemingly preferred 4-5-1. But I'm sure you'll see some experimentation with him and I think if he'll be up for it on matchday you'll be satisfied.

Nope, I don't support Everton. For those of you who know your stuff, you can probably guess by my name that I'm a Leeds supporter. But I have a very soft spot for Everton and your fans - I have a soft spot for Scousers in general! - and I always used to enjoy matches against you. From the times I've been over to Liverpool your fans are great to banter with, and it's always nice to speak to people from the other side of the pennines without being called a "dirty Yorkshire [Poor language removed]!" Which is why I prefer Scousers to Mancs.

So yeah, this seems to be a pretty cool forum here, hope to stick around and provide some banter.
