I remember watching a programme about the amount of people in ‘Mercia that keep primates as pets and how dangerous it is. They actually interviewed that guy and asked him was he confident he could control the chimp if it went on a rampage. The guy was like of course, I’m a 7th Dan in Karate. They then interviewed an expert on primates and he basically said martial arts doesn’t work on chimps. The block for a punch say is designed to stop a human arm, chimps are 7 times stronger than humans so even blocking a full punch from a chimp would snap his arm like a twig haha
