Unfortately yes, after the way Fiorentina played last night I can't see us holding them to a clean sheet for 120min given that we'll have to attack from the opening whistle. We'll have to bang in 3 just to get to penalties. However if Boro could do it twice then we can too.

God I hope Arteta gets healthy quick. I don't remember an Everton game in which he may have only got like 2-3 touches in the 2nd half. With Fernandes hurt/slumping/in the doghouse Pinnear neutralized and Gravesen over the hill he may be the only mid we got who can keep possession.

Me being thick again but just wishing to clarify.

If, after 120 minutes, we win 3-1, do we then go on to pens? I thought that they would go through on away goals if it finished like that after extra time

2-0 is the only result that will give us penalties, any other win by a 2 goal deficit sees us go out on away goals regardless of the goals being scored in normal or extra time.
I'll settle for another 6-1.
