Nothing has changed.

I’ve resorted to replaying the 2013/14 ‘72 points’ season on DVD every match day and pretending it’s happening now. It was that golden season where we had a Moyes defence, a Martinez attack, no Mosh and not a care in the world...

It already seems like a lost Golden Era :(

Nothing’s changed? Yes it has, its got worse!

What has happened since Moshiri has been here? We weren’t too far away from Spurs, now we have spent a load of money and we’re miles away! It seems it’s pure incompetence from the top down. I’ve always tried to stay positive but it’s so frustrating being an Everton fan at the moment. Allardyce has to go in the summer, maybe the board will get lucky and appoint a decent manager, can’t see it though.

It’s not looking like much is going to change in the not so distant future either.

Absolutely fed up but I’m sure I’ll end up watching us next week

When was the last time any of us actually enjoyed watching Everton?

It just feels like the last few regimes have set this club back centuries.

We have such a loyal fan base, at what point do the arsed stop being arsed?

Unfortunately it’s a bit of a life sentence, but these past few years have me questioning if I can even be bothered anymore.

I agree with the last paragraph. The players can't be arsed and increasingly neither can I.

Total incompetence from the top down.
We broke the transfer record on a painfuly slow CM and placed him on the wing to make room for a sentimental Striker. Not even going to go into Davvy Klaasen. No striker brought in to replace Rom. Brought in Cuco Martinez ffs to start at RB, now he struggles on the left with a “no defense slow cm” trying to play on the wing covering for him. Now Mosh is dropping racist Voodoo mentions and Sammy Lee is the only person in the club that looks like he even cares.

Done with my rant going to grab another beer

Walsh must go before anyone else.

A fraud that is stealing a living based off unearthing one measly Mahrez and Leicester fluking the league because the top 6 clubs had poor seasons.

How he has managed to bring in utter dross in the summer that someone like Allardyce is saying are so poor he cannot give them further chances.

I cannot remember feeling so disillusioned with Everton and football in general.

We just cannot win games and even when we do it’s not comfortable and is barely enjoyable (winning off spawny penalties or riding our luck).

Saw an update of Spurs new stadium on video the other day and I find it so difficult to believe it will actually happen for us.

It's happened already. I go to a lot of the aways but couldn't be arsed today. Watched about half an hour of it on and off.

Koeman wasted the majority of the money given to him and we're now back to being at the level of the 11th placed Martinez seasons and without Lukaku. Let's hope Allardyce can strengthen us this window.

It’s the sense of inevitability of bad performances/results which is so crushing.

Never for one second did I entertain the thought of a win today, thought if we defended well and Spurs had an off day, we might get a gritty draw.

It’s all so meh now with Everton. They are uncannily brilliant at meeting expectations these days.

Shame it’s because they are so rank.

It was a Harry Kane goal short of my expectation. I expected 5-0, Kane hat-trick.

1 We lost the talent - Lukaku and Barkley. Players who DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

2 We bought some inadequate replacements especially no striker

3 Koeman alienated too many

4 Unsworth had an impossible job

5 The idiot board faffed around and then hit upon the wrong answer - a manager who probably isn't going to stay very long. When did you last see someone pull up trees when they were on a short stay?

6 We have addressed the striker problem. Now we're begging Theo to be the Ross replacement.

7 With respect the squad includes TOO MANY liabilities

Mirallas - not sold
Mo - never fit
MACCA - NO Use
Morgan - no thanks
Mori
Martina

I've turned the match off early more times this season than I have in my life and given a load of games a miss altogether and an usually glad I've done so. The squad is really good on paper, so this constant under performing is shocking.

We have so many bad records, especially against the top 6, I don't understand how teams the ilk of Burnley go into these games with much less fear.

We're going to set the record for most games in a season without a shot on target.
