Dyche is on a hiding to nothing with this awful squad - the worst in the prem imo - but it depresses me that he is doing exactly what I thought he would and bringing back Michael Keane.

Keane is beyond awful and a total liability. We were finally learning and pushing him out. Bring in his former manager and he is back in the fold. Why not start Mina? If he gets injured we actually have cover in that position, including Keane, so can make a sub no problem.

Keane for Mina and that line up will look better. Mcneil will need to flash those crosses low as they'll clear up anything in the air. C'mon booys

Sad that a team starting a midfield or Shelvey and Colback isn't an automatic 3 points

Keane and Tarky are good at long balls. Gray is fast and can get their centre backs running the way they don’t want to - towards their own goal. I can’t imagine either of their centre backs are quick either.

Gray up front is worth a go. Maupay just isn't a lone striker and we can't carry on using him like that.
Maupay doesnt give us anyone to win a header, hold the ball or threat in behind but at least Gray will give us a threat in behind which we have massively been missing. Makes the pitch bigger pushing their backline further back and giving our midfield the space to dominate.

Before teams could push up on us and squeeze the pitch knowing we wont go in behind...

I like the look of that line up, it shows we have a proactive manager. He's actually made the changes most of us were hoping for. Great to see Godfrey at left back again. Well great to see him back regardless because he always gives his all. That performance against Haaland is one of the highlights of the season for me, not that there have been many.
